Privacy
Pickld is a club pickleball scoring and coordination app. This page explains what we store, who can see it, and how AI / video features work. For product terms see Terms.
What we store
- Account identity (email or username login), membership, and display profile.
- Match scores, points, Elo history, sessions, bookings, and Club Wallet ledger rows.
- Club chat (The Huddle), optional push subscriptions, and admin-managed venues.
- Optional match videos and derived movement analysis when an admin uploads a clip with player consent recorded.
Who can see club data
Club data is scoped by membership. Other clubs cannot read your scores, chat, Wallet, or files. Public match share links expose only the shared match summary (and OG image) when someone has the link.
AI disclosure
ai-disclosure-v1
When a club admin enables AI features, Pickld may send club stats, recent match context, and (when you tag @coach) relevant chat context to Google Gemini to generate Coach replies, session/match recaps, weekly digests, and pre-session tips. Admins can turn AI off in Club Settings. Automated jobs respect that flag and the club notification policy.
Match video & movement analysis
video-disclosure-v1
Uploading a match video requires an in-app confirmation that recorded players agreed to a private upload and movement analysis. We store an attestation (who confirmed, when, which players, consent version) with the video path. Analysis is movement analytics only — it does not change scores or Elo. Clubs set retention days; expired raw video may be deleted by cleanup jobs.
Contact
Privacy questions for your club should go to a club admin. Product-level requests can be routed through in-app feedback once support tooling ships.
